One Hundred and Twelve

last night while talking to my granddad he told me that Andrés Kolbeinsson a good friend of our family had past away last week. met andrés a few times over the past years and what a treat it was to talk photography with him. in my mind he is one of icelands best photographers and some of the candid moments he documented are so amazing to me its hard to describe. last time we meet up was when he opened a photo exhibit last summer at the age of 89, im sure not many peopel would have been able to do that. i reccomend that everyone take a look at the over 4000 negitives he gave to the Photography Museum of Reykjavik, and are displayed on their website.
